Pro:-Nice size for travel.-Quality/colors of board/pieces are great.-Closes up nicely.Con:-At this size it’s hard to tell some of the pieces apart quickly. Bishop, Rook and Pawn all look very similar.-Magnets are just OK. Bump proof but not shake proof.This chess set is the perfect size to play in the car. The magnets work well and the pieces store nicely inside the folded board. The set is sturdy, it survived my son knocking it off of a table onto a concrete floor unscathed. The board lays flat, unlike another folding board we have. It fits easily into a backpack and is very portable.
