*Update*The water "damage" is completely gone. I put the light in my garage to dry out. It's 107 degrees in the garage so I expected it to be good to go in a couple of days. It actually only took a day to dry out. I'm happy to say that it passed the water submersion test and I am now comfortable using the light as a fishing lure.*End of Update*Perfect across the board. I saw a review section for "Water resistance" and thought, hey - I should submerge this bad boy. The bubbles in the picture are proof positive that it's sucking water in. I left it for about 15 seconds, before calling it. The light and all the lighting patterns do still work, but much dimmer. I think that is due to water between the light and the lens. The water is sloooowly draining out of the light and I expect it will be completely dry (and hopefully bright as ever) again in a few days.I have another one, so instead of submerging it for 15 seconds, I just dunked it and immediately pulled it back out of the water. Works perfectly. No dimming. So, unless you are using it as a fishing lure, it should easily handle some splashing water.I LOVE these LED flashlights. They are light, BRIGHT, chargeable, and even act as a battery backup in case you need to recharge your phone. These are so much better than those old Mag-Lights.You remember Mag-Lights, right? Dim light with an even dimmer spot in the middle of the projected light. They sat in the drawer for months until the one day you actually need it. You pick up all 50 pounds of that flashlight, think how it would make a great bludgeoning tool, and click the on button. Nothing. You open it up to find 32 C cell batteries rotting in the belly of the beast. Determined, you spend the $238 for new batteries. Nope. Sorry brother. It's dead. Still good for bludgeoning though.Seriously, get an LED flashlight.I have purchased 7 of these. One failed - would not hold a charge. As for the others, they are very bright, very sturdy. Do not particularly care for the rubber flap over the controls, but I am sure it serves a worthy function. Worst thing about these flashlights is that when charging a USB device (eg. cell phone), they won't charge the device beyond 66%, even though the battery still has plenty of juice.The flashlight charges quickly, and acts as a charger for your phone, etc. I keep one in my suitcase.I like that it is very bright, compact, and it can be recharged with the USB cord that is provided.Perfect flashlight for your vehicle. Car trouble or accident off road, the flashlight will give you plenty of light or charge your phone if immediate help hasn’t arrived.These are great for the moneyNeeded a rechargeable flashlight could not believe how bright it is!I have a number of Similar flashlights that use batteries and I find this much more convenient and also more environmentally friendly I would definitely buy this again and I’ll stop using battery powered flashlights
